Calculus Preparation Resources
This page is a collection of resources curated for students who plan on enrolling in Calculus at San Francisco State University. The way the topics are organized is inspired by The Mathematics Diagnostic Testing Project (MDTP).
Calculus Resources by Topic
The resources are divided into eight major topics using MDTP: Linear, Expressions, Functions, Trigonometry, Polynomials, Rational Functions, Exponential Functions and Logarithmic Functions. Each topic has an associated “emphasis”, which ranks from one to five stars. The emphasis is generated after considering the data of the overall performance for students who have taken the diagnostic test during Spring of 2017 and the experience of the faculty. We encourage students to practice each section, while dedicating time using the emphasis denoted here and the results from your MDTP diagnostic test.
